The Aeronautical Center Amateur Radio Club, Inc.'s mission
is to offer its members a means of demonstrating and sharing their knowledge,
skills, and experiences in amateur radio with others and provide emergency
communications services to the community. This is accomplished through support
of local and national amateur radio events and drills, conducting licensing
workshops and training in emergency communications procedures. Some of these
include the ARRL Field Day, the Rush Springs Annual Watermelon Festival, the
OKC Memorial Marathon and Amateur Radio support during Preparedness Drills
and Exercises conducted by local first-responder agencies.
The club call sign is "W5PAA" and operates several repeaters at
146.670, 146.760, 146.850, 146.925, 146.985, 444.100, 927.9125 and 927.4875,
as well as a packet digipeater at 145.010, which extends the range of club
